“She's quite an anxious dog, but Scott was patient and lovely with her and she came out looking beautifully fluffy and smelling wonderful!”

How a wash actually goes

  1. 01

    You call or text

Tell me your dog, your suburb and the day that suits. I'll tell you straight if I can fit you in.

  2. 02

    I park out the front

The trailer carries its own warm water, so I need nothing from you. You bring your dog out to me.

  3. 03

Warm bath, then a blow dry

A proper wash in the hydro bath, then dried off properly. Nails and treatments if you've asked.

  4. 04

You get a clean dog back

About an hour for most dogs. Your bathroom stays dry and your dog smells like something you'd hug.

A name, not a call centre

I'm Scott, and I've been washing Shire dogs since July 2021. You'll know who's coming, and you'll see the same face at your kerb next time. No queue, no ticket number.

Owner-run since July 2021. Every review names the person who did the wash.

Good with nervous dogs

Blind dogs, timid dogs, big anxious dogs. We go slow, with breaks when they need them. When Ghost the Cane Corso was too scared for his bath, his trainer thanked me publicly for getting him through it.

A proper warm bath, not a quick hose

The orange trailer has a hydro bath in it. Warm fresh water, a proper blow dry, nails, and flea and worm treatment if you want them.

The trailer brings its own warm water and power. Nothing of yours gets used.

Before you ask

Do you need power or water from me?

No. The trailer carries its own warm fresh water and everything else I need.

How long does it take?

About an hour for most dogs. Big dogs and heavy coats take longer.

Do I need to be home?

Not for all of it. I do need someone to hand the dog over and take them back.

My dog is scared of the dryer.

Tell me first. I'll towel more and dry less, and we'll go at their pace.

What if my dog is matted?

I'll look before I start and tell you what it costs. I won't surprise you with it afterwards.

How do I book?

Call or text 0451 318 370. Tell me your dog, your suburb and the day that suits.
